The Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game on Friday afternoon.

The Kansas City Chiefs will try to build on a 31-26 win over the Seattle Seahawks in their last outing. Patrick Mahomes comes in as one of this year’s Madden’s five highly-desired players with a 99 overall rating, with 96 thiteming power as well as 97 short pass accuracy, 95 medium pass accuracy and 93 deep pass accuracy. Tyreek Hill is rated at 96 overall, with a 91 attribute rating in catching along with 97 juke, 99 speed, 99 acceleration and 98 agility while Travis Kelce is also rated 96 overall as Kansas City’s top TE with attributes of 99 awareness, 85 speed. 91 catching in traffic and 91 catching overall. On the defense, Chris Jones and Tyrann Mathieu share the team-high rank on the Chiefs with Jones leading the pass rush at 92 overall with 91 strength, 90 tackling, 89 finesse move and 95 power move while Mathieu anchors KC’s secondary at 92 overall with a 90 man coverage rating as well as 89 in zone coverage while also being rated at 90 speed, and 92 in acceleration and 92 agility

The Houston Texans will try to rebound from a 39-36 loss to Detroit last time out. DeAndre Hopkins leads Houston, rated at 98 overall with 98 catching as well as 99 marks in catching in traffic, spectacular catch, release and jumping with 92 speed, 93 acceleration and 92 agility at wide receiver. Deshaun Watson is rated at 86 overall as Houston’s starting quarterback with 88 acceleration, 84 speed and 89 thitem power while Lamar Miller is close behind at 84 overall in the Texans’ backfield with 91 carrying, 89 juke, 92 speed, 91 agility and 91 acceleration. Defensively, J.J. Watt leads the way at 97 overall with 97 strength, 94 impact blocking, 97 tackling, 93 finesse move and 94 power move. D.J. Reader and Justin Reid also come in at 84 overall each for Houston’s defense with Reader on the defensive line and Reid in the secondary.

This is a high total between the two sides, but I’m still going to side with the over. KC still has issues defensively but they can put points on the board in a hurry, but on the other side, Houston has the ability and the solid, high-rated players, but ultimately, the Texans just haven’t shown up consistently enough to give the points value. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game finished with at least 70 points, so rather than trying to pick a side, I’m on the over here.
