The Pro Bowl takes center stage as the AFC and the NFC meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game late Sunday night.

The AFC come in stacked at the quarterback position, with Lamar Jackson entering at 92 overall while Patrick Mahomes comes in as one of the highly-coveted 99 overall players for the Chiefs. Nick Chubb and Derrick Henry pose a solid duo in the backfield for the AFC while DeAndre Hopkins leads the wide receiver corps for the AFC. Defensively, Joey Bosa anchors the defensive line while Von Miller, Dont’a Hightower and T.J. Watt are all in the linebacking level and Stephon Gilmore, Tre’Davious White and Earl Thomas are some of the cogs in the AFC secondary.

The NFC has some solid QB’s of their own with Russell Wilson and Drew Brees leading the way under center. The NFC also has Christian McCaffrey rated 99 overall at running back while the wide receiver group features a 97 overall rated Julio Jones and 99 overall Michael Thomas, who is one of the NFL’s best volume catchers, both in real life and in game. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin make up the rest of the receiver group. Defensively, the NFC has Cameron Jordan and Nick Bosa up front while Aaron Donald is on the outside as is Fletcher Cox for the Eagles. Chandler Jones is on the outside at linebacker, while the NFC has a dream middle linebacker duo of Bobby Wagner and Luke Kuechly. In the secondary, Marshon Lattimore, Richard Sherman and Jalen Ramsey are all shutdown corners while Harrison Smith and Budda Baker have things under control at safety.

This isn’t your standard pro bowl, as all the starters will probably be in for the entire game. With that said, the AFC has an edge at quarterback, but from running back down and on the defensive end, I just think the NFC is the better team across the board. While anything can happen in these simulation games, especially in a simulated pro bowl, I just like the NFC a little bit better, so I’ll lay the points with the NFC in this one.
