The Chargers started out the year at 4-2 with wins over the Raiders, Texans, Browns and Broncos. Los Angeles went 1-2 over the next trio with losses to the Seahawks and 49ers surrounding a win over the Falcons.

In Sunday’s Chiefs matchup, the Chargers had a 20-16 lead going into the final quarter. Los Angeles was unable to hang on and fell 30-27. QB Justin Herbert put up 280 yards with two scores and a pick, while Austin Ekeler rushed for 83 yards and a score.

Over on the Arizona side, they went 2-4 over their first six games, taking losses to the Chiefs, Rams, Eagles and Seahawks. a 2-2 run followed, with wins over the Saints and Rams among losses to the Vikings and Seahawks.

In their Monday game versus the 49ers, the Cardinals were down 17-10 going into the break. Arizona was outscored 21-0 in the second half during a 38-10 loss. QB Colt McCoy put up 218 yards and a pick. James Conner led the rush with 42 yards and a score on 14 carries.

The Chargers are 4-0 ATS in their last four on grass and 5-1 ATS in the last six after a straight-up loss. LA is 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall.

Meanwhile, Arizona is 1-5 ATS in their last six in Week 12 and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 at home. The under is 4-1 in Arizona’s last five on Sunday after a Monday game.

PICK: I’m going to try the Chargers here. Los Angeles had the Chiefs in a good position until the final quarter in their last outing, but the game slipped away. The Chargers put up 365 total yards of offense, 22 first downs and 8-of-14 on third-down tries. LA also had two turnovers and gave up 485 yards on the other side. I think the Chargers will bounce back here, though.

As for Arizona, they had a pretty muted outing against San Francisco on Monday, notching 314 total yards and 19 first downs. I don’t think the Cardinals will keep pace here.
