The Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears meet Sunday in week 11 NFL action from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Chicago enters this matchup at 3-7 overall. The Bears took a close loss to the Lions in their last game. As for Atlanta, they’re 4-6 so far and coming off a loss to the Panthers. Chicago opened up the year at 2-1 after three games, but things have gone downhill since then. The Bears are just 1-6 in their last seven games, falling to the Giants, Vikings, Commanders, Cowboys, Dolphins and Lions.

In Sunday’s matchup versus the Lions, Chicago had a 24-10 lead going into the final quarter. The Bears were outscored 21-6 from there and lost a tough one 31-30. Justin Fields threw for 167 yards and two scores. Fields also rushed 13 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

Over on the Falcons’ side, they went 3-3 over their first six games this year. Atlanta took out the Seahawks, Browns and 49ers in that time. Since then it’s been a 1-3 run with losses to the Bengals, Chargers and Panthers.

Matched up against the Panthers last Thursday, the Falcons faced a 13-3 deficit by halftime. Atlanta kept the pace in the second half but still lost 25-15. Marcus Mariota threw for 186 yards with two scores and also led the rush on 43 yards.

The Bears are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss and 7-20 ATS in the last 27 versus the NFC. Chicago is 1-3-1 ATS in the last five on grass.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the NFC and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 at home. Atlanta is 0-4 ATS in their last four overall.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on the Bears. Probably not touching this one, but it should be a good matchup. Chicago has scored very well over the last four games, with 29 or more points in every outing. The Bears’ defense has been letting them down, however; Chicago has given up 31 or more points in three straight games.

As for Atlanta, they’ve put up a combined 32 points over their last two games and have been highly inconsistent when it comes to putting up points this year. The Falcons should match up pretty well with Chicago though; it’ll be an interesting game.
