In this article, we will formulate a Atlanta Falcons vs NY Giants Prediction for this NFL Week 16 game on Sunday, December 22nd, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Falcons Still Alive

The Falcons are still alive in the playoff race, but this team has some issues In the last game against the Las Vegas Raiders, the offense still didn’t look great, and they ended up losing 15-9. Kirk Cousins completed 11 of his 17 passes for 112 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He has had issues the last few weeks and they are going to need him to be a whole lot better.

Running back Bijan Robinson did have a strong game finishing with 22 carries for 125 yards. The Falcons on the season is averaging 20.9 points while their defense is giving up 24.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 21st in the league while the defense is ranked 25th. In this game if the Falcons want to find success, they are going to need to get better play from Cousins.

Giants Have Incentive to Lose

The Giants have an incentive to lose as they are trying to get the number one overall pick. The Giants only have two wins this season and they keep losing. In the last game against the Baltimore Ravens, the Giants scored only 14 points, while the defense gave up 21 points and that led to the defeat.

Tommy Devito and Tim Boyle both played in the last game and Boyle actually wasn’t horrible, but he wasn’t good enough. Boyle completed 12 of his 24 passes for 123 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Giants are averaging 14.9 points while their defense is giving up 23.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 32nd in the league while the defense is ranked 20th in the league.

Atlanta Falcons vs NY Giants Prediction

The Giants and Falcons are going to be involved in a low scoring game. The Giants offense is averaging only 14.9 points per game and there is no reason to believe they are going to get the offense going against the Falcons. The Falcons offense has not been as strong the last month and they are going to really struggle to get the offense going here. Look for some terrible quarterback play by both teams and this game will end up staying under the total. This is one of my favorite plays of the weekend.
