The Baltimore Ravens meet the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in week 2 Sunday Night Football NFL action from M&T Bank Stadium. Kansas City is coming off an opener game versus the Browns. The Chiefs eked out a four-point win in that one. As for the Ravens, they played Monday versus Las Vegas. Baltimore took a tough overtime loss to start their season on a sour note. Kansas City didn’t have a great first half versus the Browns in their opener and were trailing 22-10 at the break. The Chiefs outscored Cleveland 23-7 from there however, bagging a 33-29 victory for their week one troubles.

In the win, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put up 337 yards with three scores on 27-of-36 passing. Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 43 yards on 14 carries and Tyreek Hill bagged 197 yards and a TD from 11 catches.

Over on the Ravens’ side, they matched up against Las Vegas on Monday night in their opener. Baltimore was up 17-10 after three quarters, but coughed up 17 points in the fourth. The result was a 33-27 Oakland win after six points in overtime.

In the Monday defeat, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson put up 235 yards and a score on 19-of-30 passing. Jackson also had 86 rush yards on 12 carries to lead the team. Sammy Watkins was the top Baltimore receiver with 96 yards on four catches.

KC is 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games in September and 2-7 ATS in their last nine after an ATS loss. The Chiefs are 1-4 ATS in their last five as a road favorite as well.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are 4-0 ATS in their last four on turf and 5-1 ATS in their last six as an underdog. Baltimore is also 7-2 ATS in their last nine overall.

PICK: I’m probably going to stick with the Chiefs, but staying away. Kansas City certainly has some issues to address from their opening week win, but they also did a lot of things well. The Chiefs put up 324 passing yards with 6.5 yards per play, but also gave up 457 yards total to the Browns on an 8.2-yard-per-play clip.

As for Baltimore, they gave up a whopping 408 passing yards in the Monday loss, and also lost a pair of fumbles. The Ravens have some positives to build on, but I don’t like them enough on a cover just yet.
