In this article we will formulate a Buffalo Bills vs Chicago Bears prediction for this NFL Preseason game on Saturday, August 10th at Bills Stadium in Buffalo, New York. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this preseason battle.
Bills Have High Expectations This Season
The Bills have high expectations this season after they made some changes this season to try to get back over the hump. Last season, the Bills finished with 11 wins and that was enough for the AFC East division win. The Bills shipped off Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, and as good as he was on the field, there were always concerns about when he was going to go off next. There were times when he and Josh Allen clearly didn’t see eye to eye. To replace him, the Bills brought in Curtis Samuel and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Being Allen at quarterback is Mitchell Trubisky and Shane Buechle. Buechle should get plenty of playing time in this game and will look to make a big impact.
Bears and Their Rookie Quarterback
The Bears have their rookie quarterback in Caleb Williams, and all eyes will be on him if he starts in this game. Last season, the Bears had their struggles, but they hope the changes they made can help them. The Bears already played one preseason game against the Houston Texans, and they were able to secure the 21-17 victory. Tyson Bagnet and Austin Reed play a little bit, but it was Brett Rypien who was the star of the show and played the most snaps, completing 11 of his 15 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns. Collin Johnson was the top wide receiver, catching three passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns. Tommy Sweeny also caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Buffalo Bills vs Chicago Bears Production
Give me the Bears in this game. I was impressed by the quarterback play in the first game, especially with the way Rypien played, and that is going to continue to the case again here. The Bears scored 21 points in the first game, and they are going to have no issue with the offense again here. The Bills offense is going to have no answer, and the Bears will get the job done. Back the Bears against the spread.
