The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills meet Sunday in NFL action from the Northumberland Development Project in London. Jacksonville is fresh off a matchup at Wembley Stadium versus the Falcons, eventually taking a 16-point victory. As for Buffalo, they played the rival Dolphins last weekend. In that one the Bills secured a blowout win. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars kicked off their 2023 season with a matchup versus the Colts and powered out a 31-21 win to start on the right foot. The next pair of games didn’t go so well for Jacksonville, however. The Jaguars lost 17-9 to the Chiefs the next weekend, then fell 37-17 versus the Texans in a rough outing.

Jacksonville had to go all the way to London to get back into the win column in game four. The Jaguars were up 17-0 at the break and cruised to a nice 23-7 victory at Wembley Stadium. QB Trevor Lawrence put up 207 yards with a TD, and Christian Kirk led the receivers on 84 yards off eight catches. Travis Etienne added 55 rush yards as well.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ve got to stay with the Bills here. Buffalo seems to have shaken off the opener win against the flailing Jets, and they’re looking good on both sides of the ball. In the win over Miami, the Bills had 414 yards of offense (310 passing), 24 first downs and zero turnovers. The defense gave up 393 yards on the other side, but also had two takeaways and allowed just three of 10 third-down conversions. If Buffalo plays like that again this weekend, they’ll roll.

As for Jacksonville, they’re coming off a pretty solid outing versus the Falcons and may give Buffalo a bit of trouble. The Jaguars produced just 16 first downs and a 5-of-14 success rate on third-down tries, but also took care of the ball well with zero turnovers and 32:51 in time of possession. It’ll be interesting to see how the Jaguars do here, but I don’t quite think they’ll keep up.
