The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills meet Sunday in NFL action from Bills Stadium. The Jets are 7-5 this year so far. New York lost to the Vikings in their last game. As for Buffalo, they’re sitting at 24-10 after a win over the Patriots last Thursday. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

New York lost two of their first three games to the Ravens and Bengals. The Jets would then hit a 5-1 stretch with victories versus the Steelers, Dolphins, Packers, Broncos and Bills. After a loss to the Patriots, New York bounced back with a win over the Bears.

On Sunday versus the Vikings, the Jets faced a 20-6 deficit by halftime. New York outscored Minnesota 16-7 in the second half but it wasn’t enough in a 27-22 loss. QB Mike White posted 369 yards with two picks, and Zonovan Knight led the rush on 90 yards.

Over on the Bills’ side, they got a couple of wins out of the gate before a game three loss to Miami. Buffalo would then beat the Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs and Packers. After losses to the Jets and Vikings, Buffalo took out the Browns and Lions.

The Bills kept their win streak going last Thursday versus the rival Patriots. Buffalo took a 17-7 lead into the break and never looked back in a 24-10 win. QB Josh Allen managed 223 yards with two scores and James Cook added 64 yards rushing.

The Jets are 5-0 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss and 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss. New York is 8-21 ATS in their last 29 versus the AFC East.
Meanwhile, the Bills are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six versus the AFC and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine at home. Buffalo is 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 versus the AFC East.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Buffalo. The Bills are coming into this one well-rested after a nice game versus New England. Buffalo posted 355 total yards (223 passing) in that one, along with 22 first downs, 9-of-15 on third-down tries and 38:08 in time of possession.

As for New York, they boasted 486 total yards (366 passing) and 23 first downs against a very good Vikings team in their last outing. The Jets couldn’t get past their dismal 3-of-16 on third-down conversions however, and never really looked like they were in control of the game. This is going to be another tough matchup for New York, and I like Buffalo to get some revenge for the November 6 game.
