The Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills meet Sunday in NFL action from Highmark Stadium. Here’s a Bills vs Eagles prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Bills vs Eagles pick.

Philadelphia Eagles Betting Preview

The Eagles went into the bye week this year with a 6-2 overall record. Philly lost to the Broncos and Giants in that time, otherwise beating the Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams, Bucs, Vikings and Giants. After the bye Philadelphia went 4-3 over the next seven games with wins over the Packers, Lions, Raiders and Commanders around losses to the Cowboys, Bears and Chargers. That would make for a 10-5 record in the first 15 games.

In last Saturday’s matchup with the Commanders, the Eagles were down by a field goal at the break. Philly scored 22 more points from there and powered out the 29-18 comeback win, however. QB Jalen Hurts finished with 185 yards and two scores on 22-of-30 passing and Saquon Barkley led the rush with 21 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown. AJ Brown caught nine balls for 95 yards as the team’s leading receiver as well.

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

Over on the Bills’ side, they beat the Ravens, Jets, Dolphins and Saints before losses to the Patriots and Falcons this year. After the bye, Buffalo hit a 6-2 run in the next eight games with losses to the Dolphins and Texans among wins over the Panthers, Chiefs, Bucs, Steelers, Bengals and Patriots. After their first 14 games of the year the Bills had a 10-4 overall record.

In the Cleveland matchup on Sunday the Bills held a 10-point lead at the break but had to hang on after a slow second half in a 23-20 win. QB Josh Allen was 12-of-19 for 130 yards, and James Cook had 16 carries for 117 yards and a couple of scores. Khalil Shakir had 34 yards on four catches as the top receiver as well.

Bills vs Eagles Prediction

I’ll take a stab on the Bills here, but you could call it either way. Buffalo had a pretty rough offensive day versus the Browns last weekend, notching 259 yards with just 95 passing yards, 16 first downs and 2-of-8 on third-down tries. The defense kept the team in there though, giving up 134 pass yards with a couple of interceptions. It was the Bills’ lowest points total (23) during this current four-game win streak; they’d hit a combined 74 in the previous two outings.

As for Philly, they did a pretty good job versus the Commanders last Saturday, hitting 385 total yards, 207 rush yards and 26 first downs. The Eagles gave up 220 yards on the other side with 4.3 yards per play, 15 first downs and just 2-of-10 on third-down tries. Philadelphia has scored a combined 60 points across their last two games, following five straight with fewer than 22 points (a 2-3 run). If the Eagles can keep it up on the scoreboard they’ll be in great shape against Buffalo in this road matchup.
