The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears meet Sunday in NFL action from Soldier Field. Here’s a Bears vs Steelers prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Bears vs Steelers pick.
Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
Pittsburgh posted a nice 4-1 run over their first five games this year, losing to Seattle while otherwise toppling the New York Jets, the New England Patriots, the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately the Steelers would go just 1-3 over the next four games, beating only the Indianapolis Colts while otherwise falling to the Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers. In the loss to the Chargers on November 9, the Steelers fell 25-10 after giving up 10 points in two different quarters. Pittsburgh’s offense gained a tepid 221 total yards, 11 first downs and 2-of-11 on third-down tries alongside three turnovers.
In their latest outing on Sunday versus the Bengals, Pittsburgh got the better of their rivals. The Steelers put up points in every quarter and posted a 24-6 advantage in the second half on the way to a 34-12 win at home. QB Mason Rudolph finished 12-of-16 for 127 yards and a score while Jaylen Warren had 10 carries for 62 yards. Kenneth Gainwell was the team’s top receiver with seven grabs for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the winning effort for Pittsburgh.
Chicago Bears Betting Preview
Over on the Bears’ side, they lost their first two outings to the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, then hit a win streak over the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders and New Orleans Saints. Chicago would fall to the Baltimore Ravens but then beat the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants in the next pair. In the 24-20 victory over New York on November 9, the Bears posted 391 total yards with 6.1 yards per play, 23 first downs and 3-of-11 on third-down tries. New York’s 10 penalties didn’t hurt matters either.
Matched up against the Minnesota Vikings last weekend, the Bears turned an early deficit into a 16-3 advantage by the fourth quarter. Chicago was outscored 14-3 from there but held on for the big road win 19-17 in the end. Caleb Williams finished 16-of-32 for 193 yards while D’Andre Swift carried 21 times for 90 yards. Cole Kmet added 45 yards from five receptions as the team’s leading receiver in the victory.

Bears vs Steelers Prediction
I’ll stick with the Bears, though this should be a pretty fun matchup. You could call it either way. Chicago had to hang on through a wild fourth quarter in their road win over Minnesota last week, but in the end they got the job done. The Bears mustered 320 yards with 7-of-18 on third-down tries alongside a modest 180 pass yards, 4.4 yards per play and 19 first downs in the win. On defense Chicago gave up 265 yards with just 15 first downs and 3-of-11 on third downs along with a couple of picks in a pretty nice overall effort. The Bears have won three straight games, but they’ve all been close affairs over shaky teams. This will be Chicago’s toughest challenge since losing to the Ravens by two touchdowns on October 26.
As for Pittsburgh, they did pretty well on offense in their win over the Bengals—even with the quarterback switch due to Aaron Rodgers’ injury. The Steelers posted 343 total yards, 5.7 yards per play, 22 first downs and a solid 7-of-13 on third-down tries. The defense kept Cincinnati under 300 total yards and came up with a couple of takeaways. Pittsburgh has 21 or more points in seven of the last eight games, so they’ll be a potentially dangerous opponent for the Bears this weekend.
