In this article we will formulate a Cowboys vs Ravens prediction for this NFL game on Saturday, August 16th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this week two matchup in the preseason.

Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview

The Dallas Cowboys are 0-1 this preseason after they lost to the Rams by a score of 31-21 last week. Dallas trailed 14-0 after the first quarter and 14-6 at halftime, before entering the fourth quarter down 17-6. In the last quarter, the Dallas offense woke up, but they also allowed 14 points on defense. The Cowboys were out gained by a total of 364-297, went 4-11 on third down conversions, and tied the turnover battle at one in the loss. Joe Milton went 17-29 for 143 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while Will Grier went 2-3 with 14 yards in limited work. Malik Davis rushed for 63 yards, while Traeshon Holden caught two passes for 42 yards. The Dallas defense was led by Childress and Smith Jr., who both had six tackles, while Daxon added a sack.

Dallas went 1-2 in the preseason last year with losses to the Rams by a score of 13-12 and the Chargers by a score of 26-19, but they did win their second game by a score of 27-12 against the Raiders. Dallas is not expected to play Prescott in this game, so it will be Milton and Grier under center once again.

Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview

The Baltimore Ravens are 1-0 this preseason after they defeated Indianapolis by a score of 24-16 in their first game. Baltimore led 14-6 after the first quarter and 21-9 at halftime. In the second half, the Ravens had their lead cut to 21-16 in the third, but they scored the only points in the fourth for the victory. The Ravens were out gained by a total of 366-226, went 5-14 on third down, and lost the turnover battle 2-1 in the win. Devin Leary went 3-12 for 43 yards and one interception, while Cooper Rush went 2-4 with 16 yards and one interception. Keaton Mitchell rushed for 68 yards and one score, while LaJohntay Wester caught two passes for 41 yards in the game. The Baltimore defense was led by Brade, who had seven tackles, while Isaac and Ojabo picked up sacks.

Baltimore went 1-2 in the 2024 preseason with losses to Philadelphia and Green Bay by scores of 16-13 and 30-7, but they did win their second game by a score of 13-12 over Atlanta. The Ravens will likely play Cooper Rush for the majority of this game, but Devin Leary should also see some playing time as well.

Cowboys vs Ravens Prediction

Dallas had trouble defensively in their first game last week, but they should have an easier time here, as the Baltimore offense was not good in their first game. The Ravens managed to win, but they could hardly pass the ball and turned it over twice. I liked what I saw from Milton under center for Dallas in their first game and I think they have the quarterback advantage, so I will take the Cowboys at home.
