In this article we will formulate a Denver Broncos vs Arizona Cardinals prediction for this NFL Preseason game on Monday, August 25th at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this preseason battle in week three.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

The Denver Broncos are 2-0 this preseason after they defeated Green Bay by a score of 27-2 in their last game. Denver led 17-0 at the half and they were able to play great defense, which led to an easy victory. The Broncos out gained the Packers by a total of 263-168 and went 7-13 on third down attempts in the game. Bo Nix threw for 80 yards and one touchdown, while Jarrett Stidham threw for 65 yards and one interception. Zach Wilson added 29 passing yards and one score, while Tim Patrick caught four passes for 30 yards and a touchdown. Denver defeated Indianapolis by a score of 34-30 in their first game.

Denver went 1-2 in the preseason in 2023, which started with an 18-17 loss against Arizona. The Broncos lost their second game by a score of 21-20 against San Francisco, while beating the Rams by a score of 41-0 in the finale. Denver hasn’t announced their plans for quarterback for this game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see very little of Bo Nix, which means we should see Stidham and Wilson carry the load.

Arizona Cardinals Betting Preview

The Arizona Cardinals are 0-2 this preseason after they lost to Indianapolis by a score of 21-13 in their last game. Arizona led 10-7 at halftime, but they were out scored 14-3 in the second half for the loss. The Cardinals were out gained by a total of 356-232 and forced two turnovers in the game. Clayton Tune threw for 79 yards and Desmond Ridder threw for 71 yards in the game. Trey Benson rushed for 43 yards on nine carries in the loss. Arizona lost to New Orleans by a score of 16-14 in their first game.

Arizona went 2-1 in the preseason last year, which began with an 18-17 win over Denver. The Cardinals lost to Kansas City by a score of 38-10 in their second game, but finished the preseason with an 18-17 win over the Vikings. Kyler Murray will not play in this game, so we will see more of Ridder and Tune under center.

Denver Broncos vs Arizona Cardinals Prediction

Denver comes into this game looking to finish 3-0 in the preseason, but it will be interesting to see how their offense looks in this game. In the first two games, we saw a qb battle between Stidham, Nix, and Wilson, but it looks like Nix has pulled away in the race. On the other side, the Cardinals will have Tune and Ridder under center, which doesn’t inspire much confidence. Even if Nix doesn’t play, I have much more faith in Stidham and Wilson, so my Denver Broncos vs Arizona Cardinals prediction is for the Broncos to cover.
