Denver led 13-10 at halftime and they led by double digits on multiple occasions in the second half, but they were barely able to hang on for the win. The Broncos out gained Indianapolis by a total of 410-283 and they went 7-13 on third down conversions. Bo Nix threw for 125 yards and one touchdown, Zach Wilson threw for 117 yards, and Jarrett Stidham threw for 37 yards and one pick. Audric Estime led the ground game with 31 yards and one touchdown.
Denver went 1-2 in the preseason last year, which started with an 18-17 loss against Arizona in their first game. The Broncos lost their second game by a score of 21-20 against the 49ers, before beating the Rams 41-0 in the finale. Denver is still in a quarterback battle, so we should see all three quarterbacks once again here.

Both of these teams were able to start the preseason with a nice win last week, but Denver did allow 30 points in the victory. The Broncos have a nice quarterback competition going between Nix, Wilson, and Stidham, so we should see all three very focused once again this week. Green Bay may not play their starters in this one, but that isn’t really big news, considering they were only going to play a series or two anyways. I do love the Broncos from the fact that they are still trying to figure out their quarterback plans, but this spread is too big for a “meaningless” preseason game. Give me the Packers and the points.
