The Buccaneers faced off against the Eagles and the offense was dominant, but even better was the defense. The Buccaneers offense scored 32 points while the defense gave up only nine points. Baker Mayfield had a strong game completing 22 of his 36 passes for 337 yards, and three touchdowns. The defense overall has been fine for this team but in this game it’s going to need to have a big game. They can’t count on the offense to score 32 points again in this game.
Lions Finally Pick up a Playoff Win
The Lions finally picked up playoff win in the last game but it wasn’t the cleanest game. The Lions offense only managed three points in the second half and that led to them only winning by a point. Jared Goff completed 22 of his 27 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown. Armon-St Brown is a mismatch most nights and he caught seven passes for 110 yards. The defense wasn’t exactly elite in the last game and that is going to need to be better here. If the defense can create a couple of turnovers early, they are going to be in good shape to secure the win.

I am not sold on this Lions defense, and the Buccaneers offense really looked good in the last game. Baker Mayfield really put on a show in the last game and he’s going to find success again in this game. The Lions offense still is probably going to score enough for them to come away with a victory but the Buccaneers are going to keep this game within a field goal and they will cover the spread.
