The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys square off Sunday in week 10 NFL action from Lambeau Field. Dallas is sitting at 6-2 overall following a bye week. The Cowboys last appeared in a 20-point win over the Bears. As for Green Bay, they’re 3-6 following a loss to the Lions last weekend. Dallas started the year with a loss to the Buccaneers, then hit their stride with wins over the Bengals, Giants, Commanders and Rams. The Cowboys would then lose to the Eagles and beat the Lions in their next pair of games.
Back on October 30 versus the Bears, Dallas stayed in the win column. The Cowboys scored 14 points in each of the first three quarters during a 49-29 victory. QB Dak Prescott finished with 250 yards and two scores, while Tony Pollard rushed for 131 yards and three TDs.
Over on the Green Bay side, it’s been a pretty rough season so far. The Packers lost to the Vikings in their opener, then beat the Bears, Buccaneers and Patriots. Green Bay has since lost to the Giants, Jets, Commanders, Bills and Lions.
In the Lions game last weekend, Green Bay trailed 8-0 going into the third quarter. The Packers got better after halftime but still lost 15-9. QB Aaron Rodgers had 291 yards, one TD and three picks. Allen Lazard led the receivers on four catches for 87 yards and a TD.
The Cowboys are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS win. Dallas is 19-7 ATS in their last 26 overall.
Meanwhile, the Packers are 4-1 ATS in their last five in Week 10 and 11-5 ATS versus a team with a winning record. Green Bay is 2-6 ATS in their last eight versus the NFC.
PICK: I’m going to stay with the Cowboys. Dallas performed admirably in their last game versus the Bears, notching 442 total yards, 24 first downs and 9-of-11 on third-down tries. The Cowboys have been scoring well lately, with 20 or more points in six of their last seven.
As for Green Bay, it’s starting to look like a lost season after a limp effort versus the Lions last weekend. The Packers have 17 or fewer points in three of their last four games, and it’s not going to get any easier against a rested Dallas team.
