The Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers meet Sunday in NFL action from Lambeau Field. Minnesota is sitting at 12-3 overall. The Vikings beat the Giants back on Saturday. As for Green Bay, they’re 7-8 after a win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Minnesota has losses this year to only the Eagles, Cowboys and Lions. Outside of that it’s been wins over the Packers, Lions, Saints, Bears, Dolphins, Cardinals, Commanders, Bills, Patriots, Jets, Colts and Giants.

Matched up against the Giants on Saturday, the Vikings were down 13-10 going into the final quarter. After a wild 17-11 run, Minnesota notched the comeback win 27-24. Kirk Cousins threw for 299 yards and three scores, while Justin Jefferson and TJ Hockenson combined for 242 yards and three receiving scores.

Over on the Green Bay side, their wins have come versus the Bears, Buccaneers, Patriots, Cowboys, Bears Rams and Dolphins. The losses have been versus the Vikings, Giants, Jets, Commanders, Bills, Lions, Titans and Eagles.

Back on Sunday versus the Dolphins, the Packers trailed 20-13 by the third quarter. Green Bay posted a 13-0 edge in the second half and won it 26-20. Aaron Rodgers put up 238 yards with a TD and a pick, while AJ Dillon rushed for 36 yards and a score.

The Vikings are 2-5 ATS in their last seven after an ATS loss and 2-5 ATS in their last seven in January. Minnesota is 3-10 ATS versus a team with a losing record.
Meanwhile, the Packers are 17-7 ATS in their last 24 on grass and 1-4 ATS in their last five at home versus a team with a winning road record. The over is 5-2 in Green Bay’s last seven versus the NFC.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on the Vikings. Probably not touching this one, however; it’s going to be a highly competitive game. The last time these teams met was in the opener. Minnesota ended up winning that one 23-7 thanks to 395 total yards and zero turnovers. This one’s probably going to be a lot closer, though. The Packers have been playing much better lately and they’ve got a three-game win streak going. Green Bay has scored 24 or more points in each of those games and they’ll probably keep that trend going in this important home matchup. That said, I think Minnesota will keep it close enough to cover. Should be a fun one.
