The Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks meet Sunday in week 10 NFL action from Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Seattle is coming off a bye week; they last appeared in a blowout win over Jacksonville. As for the Packers, they’re coming off a tough six-point loss to the Chiefs. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Seattle went 2-2 over their first four games this year, beating the Colts and 49ers while otherwise falling to the Titans and Vikings. After that came three straight losses to the Rams, Steelers and Saints before a 31-7 win over the Jaguars on Halloween.

In the victory over Jacksonville, Seattle scored in every quarter and didn’t allow the Jags on the scoreboard until the fourth. QB Geno Smith finished on 195 yards and two scores from 20-of-24 passing, and Tyler Lockett led the receivers with 12 catches for 142 yards.

Over on the Packers’ side, they lost to the Saints in their opener, but then hit their stride with victories against the Lions, 49ers, Steelers, Bengals, Bears, Washington and the Cardinals. Green Bay lost again this past weekend, falling 13-7 to the Chiefs.

The Packers were without Aaron Rodgers in their Kansas City matchup, which led to a ton of blitzing that stymied the offense. QB Jordan Love finished with 190 yards, one TD and one pick. Randall Cobb led the receivers with his 50 yards from three catches.

The Seahawks are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 in Week 10. Seattle is also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 versus the NFC.

Meanwhile, the Packers are 8-0 ATS in their last eight overall and 7-0 ATS in their last seven after an ATS win. Green Bay is 5-1 ATS in their last six home games as well.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Green Bay. Early indications seem to say Rodgers will be back for this game if all goes well—and we might even see Russell Wilson come back too. All of that aside, I’m probably still on the Packers anyway—the line will just be different later in the week. Green Bay will certainly have to make some adjustments if Love is starting again, as the team was just 2-of-12 on third downs with a pair of turnovers. Aside from that however, the offense wasn’t terrible last weekend overall; they just couldn’t keep drives going.

As for Seattle, they’ve had an extra week to plan for this one so I expect the team to come in ready. I just wonder how effective the Seattle offense will be; they posted just 229 total yards and 4.4 yards per play against Jacksonville but oddly still won in a blowout. If nothing else, this Packers matchup will be interesting—that much is for sure.
