Kansas City Chiefs vs Jacksonville Jaguars 11/13/22 NFL Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars do battle Sunday in week 10 NFL action from Arrowhead Stadium. Jacksonville is 3-6 on the year so far and fresh off a win over the Raiders. Jacksonville opened up the year at 2-1 with wins over the Colts and Chargers (and a loss to the Commanders), then hit a losing streak. The defeats came courtesy of the Eagles, Texans, Colts, Giants and Broncos over the next five games. 

The Jaguars stopped their losing streak over the weekend versus the Raiders. Jacksonville was down 20-10 at halftime but outscored Vegas 17-0 from there in a 27-20 win. QB Trevor Lawrence put up 235 yards with a TD, and Travis Etienne had 109 yards and two scores. 

Over on the Kansas City side, they beat the Cardinals and Chargers before a loss to the Colts in game three. The Chiefs would beat the Buccaneers and Raiders before a loss to the Bills and a win over the 49ers during their next four outings. 

Back on Sunday versus the Titans, Kansas City trailed 17-9 going into the final quarter. The Chiefs were able to tie it up and emerged with a 20-17 win after overtime. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 446 yards, one score and one pick while also rushing for 63 yards and a TD. 

The Jaguars are 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 in Week 10 and 2-6 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win. Jacksonville is 1-5 ATS in the last six overall. 

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven in Week 10 and 2-5 ATS in their last seven overall. KC is 0-6 ATS in their last six versus the AFC. 

PICK: I’m probably staying with the Chiefs, even though they haven’t been great ATS lately. In any case, KC pulled off a gutsy overtime win versus a pretty good Tennessee team, holding the Titans to just 57 pass yards, nine first downs, 1-of-11 on third-down tries and 229 total yards. The Chiefs had 499 yards on the other side and nearly gave the game away with penalties (10 for 69 yards) but still managed the win. 

As for Jacksonville, they had a nice comeback win of their own versus the Raiders, posting 403 total yards, 22 first downs and 9-of-15 on third-down tries. If the Chiefs defense is on point however, it’ll be harder for the Jags to find much room in this matchup.
