The Los Angeles Chargers and New York Giants clash Sunday afternoon in week 14 NFL action at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The New York Giants need a win after losing five of their last eight games. The Los Angeles Chargers look for a win after splitting their last eight games.

The New York Giants have lost four straight road games. Mike Glennon is completing 56.5 percent of his passes for 383 yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay have combined for 801 receiving yards on 61 receptions, while Evan Engram has 35 receptions. The New York Giants ground game is averaging 90.8 yards per contest, and Devontae Booker leads the way with 376 yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively, New York is allowing 22.8 points and 365.3 yards per game. Tae Crowder leads the New York Giants with 88 tackles, Azeez Ojulari has 6.5 sacks and Xavier McKinney has 5 interceptions.

The Los Angeles Chargers have split their last six home games. Justin Herbert is completing 66.6 percent of his passes for 3,547 yards, 27 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Mike Williams and Keenan Allen have combined for 1,783 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, while Austin Ekeler has 56 receptions. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 26.3 points and 350.7 yards per game. Derwin James Jr. leads the Los Angeles Chargers with 100 tackles, Joey Bosa has 7.5 sacks and Asante Samuel Jr. has 2 interceptions.

The Giants are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 road games and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games as a road underdog. The Chargers are 18-40-1 ATS in their last 59 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The under is 21-6-1 in Giants last 28 games overall. The under is 19-9 in Chargers last 28 home games. The Giants are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

The New York Giants pretty much watched their season come to an end last week, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see them fall on their face here. However, the Los Angeles Chargers have been inconsistent as all hell all season, and it’s hard to trust them with big numbers. In fact, the Chargers haven’t won back-to-back games since week 4 and 5. This could also be a bit of a trap game for the Chargers after their win over the Bengals and the Chiefs next week. Let’s also not look over a bunch of New Yorkers in California, so this is pretty much a Giants home game. Don’t love it, but give me the points.
