The Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys clash Sunday in week 11 NFL action from US Bank Stadium. Dallas is sitting at 6-3 overall following an OT loss to Green Bay in their last game. As for Minnesota, they’re 8-1. The Vikings eked out an OT win versus Buffalo in their most recent outing. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Dallas did a pretty good job across their first five games at 4-1, beating the Bengals, Giants, Commanders and Rams. It’s been a spotty 2-2 run since then however, with wins over the Lions and Bears in between losses to the Eagles and Packers.

Dallas had a tricky road matchup versus the Packers last Sunday, and things were all tied up at 14-14 by halftime. The Cowboys had a 14-point lead going into the final quarter but eventually lost in overtime. QB Dak Prescott finished with 265 yards, three scores and two picks.

Over on the Vikings’ side, they beat the Packers in their opener this year then fell to the Eagles 24-7. It’s been a string of Minnesota wins since then, though. The Vikings have taken out the Lions, Saints, Bears, Dolphins, Cardinals, Commanders and Bills in that stretch.

Matched up against a good Buffalo team on Sunday, the Vikings faced a 24-10 deficit going into the third quarter. Minnesota rallied and eventually won 33-30 in overtime. Quarterback Kirk Cousins posted 357 yards, one TD and two INTs while Dalvin Cook had 119 yards and a score.

The Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games. Dallas is 19-7 ATS in their last 26 versus the NFC.

Meanwhile, the Vikings are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four overall and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 in Week 11. Minnesota is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six in November.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on Minnesota. I could probably go either way on this one, though; it should be a competitive game and a fun matchup to watch. In any case, the Vikings are rolling right along on this seven-game win streak and they’ve hit 20 or more points in every one of those games. Minnesota put up 481 total yards (147 rushing) and 24 first downs against a pretty good Bills team and had a great second half in the win.

As for Dallas, they had the Packers on the ropes in their last outing until the fourth-quarter breakdown. The Cowboys still came up with 421 total yards and 24 first downs, but also notched nine penalties, two picks and a spotty 5-of-15 on third-down tries. I like Dallas to be competitive here as well, with Minnesota eking out a cover in a tight game.
