The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders meet in week 10 Monday Night Football NFL action from Lincoln Financial Field. Washington is 4-5 so far this year and coming off a three-point loss to the Vikings. As for Philadelphia, they’re rolling along at 8-0 following a win versus the Texans last Thursday. Washington beat the Jaguars in their first game this season. The Commanders then hit a losing streak versus the Lions, Eagles, Cowboys and Titans. The next three games were all victories for Washington versus the Bears, Packers and Colts.

In the Vikings matchup last weekend, Washington saw their streak snapped. The Commanders had a 10-7 lead going into the final quarter but ultimately lost 20-17. QB Taylor Heinicke finished with 149 yards, two scores and a pick. Brian Robinson added 44 rush yards.

Over on the Philadelphia side, they’ve had a couple of close calls so far this year but haven’t dropped a game yet. The Eagles have beaten the Lions, Vikings, Commanders, Jaguars, Cardinals, Cowboys, Steelers and Texans in succession.

In the Texans matchup last Thursday, Philadelphia had a 14-14 tie coming out of halftime. The Eagles scored 15 more points from there in a 29-17 victory. QB Jalen Hurts finished with 243 yards and two scores. Miles Sanders added 93 yards and a TD on 17 carries.

The Commanders are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four overall and 5-0-1 ATS in their last six in November. Washington is 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine versus the NFC East.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last four at home and 5-1 ATS in their last six on grass. Philly is 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall.

PICK: I may take a stab on Washington here. The Commanders had a rough game versus a pretty good Vikings team last weekend, notching 263 total yards (126 passing), 18 first downs and just 3-of-10 on third-down tries. Washington has scored 17 or fewer points in six of their last seven games though, so if they’re going to cover it’ll be with a big defensive effort.

As for Philly, they rolled through another victory in their last game and are looking pretty good. The Eagles should win here, and if the line was any thinner I’d probably take them on a cover as well. That said I think the Commanders can put up a cosmetic score or two later on to help their cause and get in there.
