In this article, we will formulate a New Orleans Saints vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction for this NFL Week 17 game on Sunday, December 29th, at Caesars Superdome
Saints Need This Season Over
The Saints really need for this season to be over. In the last game against the Green Bay Packers, the Saints had too many injuries to count, and that included starting quarterback Derek Carr and star running back Alvin Kamara. The Saints offense couldn’t get anything going and they ended up losing 34-0. Spencer Rattler completed 15 of his 30 passes for 150 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. For people who thought he might be the quarterback of the future for this team, he has a long way to go before that can happen. The Saints are averaging 20.6 points while their defense is giving up 23.1 points per game. The offense is ranked 22nd while the defense is ranked 16th.
Raiders Blew Chance at First Pick
The Raiders had a chance at the first pick, and then they ended up blowing it with a victory in the last game. The Raiders faced off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the last game and they ended up winning 19-14. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but they scored six points in the 4th quarter to pick up the win. The Raiders were led by Aidan O’Connell who completed 24 off his 38 passes for 257 yards. Brock Bowers is having a huge rookie season and he finished with 11 catches for 99 yards. He already looks like one of the best tight ends in football. The Raiders are averaging 17.8 points while their defense is giving up 26 points per game. The offense is ranked 29th in the league while the defense is ranked 17th.
New Orleans Saints vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction
This total is too high. The Saints scored a grand total of zero points in the last game, and they aren’t going to finish with many more points than that here. The Raiders are averaging 17.8 points per game and even though they scored 19 points in the last game they aren’t going to run up the score here. The Saints and Raiders are both going to finish with ten points or less and the under is going to cash. This is one of my favorite plays on the board.
