The Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants meet Sunday in NFL action from MetLife Stadium. Indianapolis is coming off a Monday game versus the Chargers. In that one the Colts lost by 17 points to fall to 4-10-1 overall. As for New York, they’re currently 8-6-1 after a loss to Minnesota back on Saturday. Indianapolis managed to win just four of their first 14 games this year, beating the Chiefs, Broncos, Jaguars and Raiders (with a tie versus Houston). The losses came to the Jaguars, Titans, Titans, Commanders, Patriots, Eagles, Steelers, Cowboys and Vikings.

In the “Bolts versus Colts” matchup against the Chargers on Monday, the Colts could only muster three points in the first half. Indianapolis was shut out 10-0 from there and lost 20-3. QB Nick Foles put up 143 yards with three interceptions. Jelani Woods was tops in receiving with 43 yards and three receptions.

Over on the New York side, they have wins over the Titans, Panthers, Bears, Packers, Ravens, Jaguars Texans and Commanders (with another tie versus Washington). The losses have come versus the Cowboys, Seahawks, Lions, Cowboys, Eagles and Vikings.

In Saturday’s game versus Minnesota, New York was ahead 13-10 going into the final quarter. The Giants were outscored 17-11 from there however and lost 27-24. QB Daniel Jones put up 334 yards, one TD and one pick. Saquon Barkley led the rush on 84 yards with a TD.

The Colts are 2-5 ATS in their last seven after an ATS win and 1-4 ATS in the last five in January. The over is 4-0 in Indianapolis’ last four after a straight-up loss.

Meanwhile, the Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 20-9-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record. New York is 6-0 ATS in the last six after a straight-up loss.

PICK: I’ll probably stick with the Giants. New York posted a strong effort against a very good Minnesota team in their last game, notching 445 total yards (319 passing) and 23 first downs. The Giants were a sketchy 3-of-11 on third-down conversions and coughed up a couple of turnovers, however. New York isn’t exactly tearing up the scoreboard lately but they have hit at least 20 points in five straight games.

As for the Colts, they managed just 173 yards (104 passing) on Monday in a rough performance. Indianapolis had just 10 first downs, logged three interceptions and went 0-for-10 on third-down conversions. The Colts have failed to make it to 20 points in four of their last five games and I don’t think they’ll break that trend here either.
