The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles meet Sunday in week 6 NFL action at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Baltimore Ravens look for their third road win to build on their 4-1 start to the NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens have won eight straight road games. Lamar Jackson is completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 949 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions. Jackson has three or more passing touchdowns in four of his last eight games. Marquise Bitemn and Mark Andrews have combined for 541 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Willie Snead IV has 10 receptions. The Baltimore Ravens ground game is averaging 160.8 yards per contest, and Jackson leads the way with 238 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Baltimore is allowing 15.2 points and 335 yards per game. Patrick Queen leads the Baltimore Ravens with 42 tackles, Tyus Bowser has two sacks and Marcus Peters has two interceptions.

The Philadelphia Eagles need a feel good win here to rebound from a 1-3-1 record. The Philadelphia Eagles have failed to lose four of their last six home games. Carson Wentz is completing 60 percent of his passes for 1,188 yards, six touchdowns and nine interceptions. Wentz has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last 10 games. Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward have combined for 381 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Zach Ertz has 20 receptions. The Philadelphia Eagles ground game is averaging 108 yards per contest, and Miles Sanders leads the way with 316 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Philadelphia is allowing 29 points and 355.2 yards per game. Nathan Gerry leads the Philadelphia Eagles with 40 tackles, Brandon Graham has three sacks and Alex Singleton has one interception.

The Ravens are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games, 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a favorite and 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Eagles are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games, 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The under is 5-1 in Ravens last 6 games overall. The under is 19-7 in Eagles last 26 home games.

The Baltimore Ravens are obviously the better team here and have had ridiculous success against the spread dating back to last season. However, the Eagles have shown progress these last two weeks with a win over the 49ers and hanging around with the Steelers in back-to-back road games. The Eagles should also be getting some players back from injury, and they’re an impressive 9-3 against the spread in their last 12 games when an underdog of at least seven points. The Eagles have won outright three of their last five games when an underdog of at least seven points. It feels like there’s some value on the Eagles now after playing well in their last two games.

I’ll take my chances with the Eagles and the free touchdown plus the hook.
