Week 1 of the NFL season is finally here and Sunday’s slate has plenty of value in terms of prop bets. Let’s take a look at the best NFL prop bets to make your Sunday a winning one.
Sam Darnold under 245.5 passing yards (-110)
Sam Darnold will be looking for revenge against his old team, but I don’t expect he is going to finish over 245.5 passing yards. The Carolina Panthers are still a run-first team, and I expect a run-first style of game. Only once last year did Darnold throw for over 230 yards. Darnold will finish with under 245.5 passing yards.
Josh Allen first touchdown scorer (+1000)
The Buffalo Bills are going to get the first score in this game, and it will be Josh Allen that finds the end zone first. Josh Allen has rushed for at least eight touchdowns in each of his first three seasons. Look for Allen to take it in from inside the five and for the +1000 to cash.
New York Jets under 20.5 points (-130)
The New York Jets might have their answer in Zach Wilson, but this is his first NFL game, and I think there will be some jitters. Outside of Wilson, this is a Jets offense that has a lot of question marks, and they are going to have issues going against the Panthers defense. Look for the Jets to finish with 13 or 17 points.
Josh Allen to pass for 2+ touchdowns + Buffalo Bills to win (-125)
The Buffalo Bills are going to win, so this bet is going to come down to Josh Allen’s touchdown passes. In seven of Allen’s last eight starts, he has finished with at least two touchdowns. Allen is going to sling the ball all over the field and finish with at least two touchdowns.
