The Denver Broncos and the New York Jets meet Sunday in NFL action from Northumberland Development Project in London. Here’s a Jets vs Broncos prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Jets vs Broncos pick.
Denver Broncos Betting Preview
Denver was able to open up the season with a victory, taking out the struggling Tennessee Titans 20-12. The Broncos would lose the next two games each by one score, falling to the Indianapolis Colts 29-28 and the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20. Denver was able to even up their record through four games with a 28-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, though. In that matchup the Broncos gathered 512 total yards and 29 first downs while holding the opposition to just 159 yards, 3.7 yards per play, nine first downs and a 2-of-11 success rate on third-down tries on the other side in a nice defensive display.
In their matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend, Denver wasn’t looking good by the fourth quarter, heading in with a 17-3 deficit. The Broncos managed to score 18 unanswered points from there however, pulling off an improbable upset win 21-17 in the end. QB Bo Nix finished with 242 yards and a score on 24-of-39 passing while JK Dobbins was the top rusher with 20 carries, 79 yards and a TD of his own in the victory effort. Tops in receiving was Courtland Sutton with eight catches for 99 yards in total.
New York Jets Betting Preview
Over on the Jets’ side, it’s been a rough year so far. New York hit the skids right from the beginning this season, falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the opener 34-32. The Jets were then pummeled by their division rival Buffalo Bills 30-10 and fell in a tough one to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 29-27. In their Monday evening game versus the Dolphins, New York took yet another defeat 27-21. In that one the Jets held Miami to a modest 177 pass yards and a 4-of-12 success rate on third downs but also went 4-of-9 on third downs themselves alongside 13 penalties and three lost fumbles in a sloppy overall effort.
Matched up against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the Jets were doing fine after the first quarter, all tied up with a 3-3 score. New York was pummeled for 20 unanswered points in the second quarter however, and despite 16 points in the final frame it ended up as a 37-22 Jets defeat. QB Justin Fields was 32-of-46 for 283 yards and a pair of scores, while Breece Hall topped the rushers with 14 carries for 113 yards. Garrett Wilson was the leading receiver in the loss with six catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Jets vs Broncos Prediction
I’ll stay with Denver. The Broncos are riding high right now after handing Philadelphia their first loss of the season—at Lincoln Financial Field, no less. It was a chippy game though, with Denver accounting for 12 of the game’s 21 penalties, resulting in 121 yards off flags. The third-down efficiency was pretty rough for the Broncs as well (5-of-16) but they did a good job otherwise. Denver managed 358 total yards (228 passing), 5.1 yards per play and 23 first downs. On defense the Broncos held Philly to 302 total yards (45 rushing), 16 first downs and 2-of-11 on third-down tries. Denver is getting it done with defense these days; they’ve held opponents below 21 points in all three wins, and below 30 points in all five games. The offense hasn’t gotten past 28 points themselves, however.
As for the Jets, they gave up 416 yards and 22 first downs to the Cowboys last weekend in a sloppy game of their own (10 of 21 total penalties). New York has given up 27 or more points in every game this year so far; it’s difficult to trust them on much of anything right now.
