The Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers clash in week 8 NFL Sunday Night Football from Bills Stadium.

The Green Bay Packers come into this game on the heels of three straight losses after a 23-21 loss to Washington in their last game. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 1,597 yards, 11 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 66.8% passing while Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon have combined for 733 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Allen Lazard has a team-high 340 receiving yards and 26 receptions while three other Packers have 200+ receiving yards as well this season. On defense, De’Vondre Campbell has a team-high 61 total tackles including 36 solo tackles while Rashan Gary has a team-high 6 sacks. Preston Smith pair also has 3.5 sacks as well this season.

The Buffalo Bills will hope to build on their 5-1 record after their bye week. The last time we saw the Bills, they made it three wins in a row after a 24-20 win over Kansas City. Josh Allen has thrown for 1,980 yards, 17 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 66.9% passing while also leading the Bills on the ground with 257 rushing yards this season. Stefon Diggs leads Buffalo’s receiving group with 49 grabs for 656 yards and 6 TDs while Gabriel Davis has 383 receiving yards and 4 TDs as well this season. Four other Bills have 100+ receiving yards as well on the year. On defense, Tremaine Edmunds has a team-high 36 total tackles while Von Miller has a team-high 6 sacks this season.

Green Bay is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in October while the over is 7-1-1 in their last 9 games on turf. Buffalo is 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 week 8 matchups and 2-0-2 ATS in their last 4 October games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

I get the reasoning for backing either side in this game, but while this many points with Aaron Rodgers is tempting, the glaring reality is that the Pack are getting this many points for a reason as something’s inherently wrong with the Green Bay Packers. Buffalo is dangerous to begin with but now off of an extra week to prepare for this game, the Packers are going to be in for a long day. I think this one’s all Buffalo in a bit of a statement/changing of the guard kind of game so I’ll side with the Bills laying the big number.
