The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks clash Sunday in week 10 NFL action from Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Seattle is coming off a 10-point victory over the Cardinals. Seattle began this year’s campaign at 2-2 with losses to the 49ers and Falcons between wins over the Broncos and Lions. The Seahawks would then lose to the Saints before hitting a win streak versus the Cardinals, Chargers and Giants.
Seattle kept their run going versus the Cardinals this past weekend. The Seahawks managed to put up points in every quarter in a 31-21 victory. QB Geno Smith posted 275 yards with two TDs and a pick, while Kenneth Walker carried 26 time for 109 yards and two scores.
Over on the Tampa Bay side, their year began at 3-2 with wins over the Cowboys, Saints and Falcons mixed with losses to the Packers and Chiefs. The Buccaneers lost their next three to the Steelers, Panthers and Ravens.
Tampa Bay was able to stop the bleeding in their last game versus the Rams. The Buccaneers were down 13-6 going into the final quarter but ultimately pulled off the win 16-13. QB Tom Brady managed 280 yards and a TD, while Rachaad White rushed for 27 yards.
The Seahawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five on turf. Seattle is 8-3-1 ATS in the last 12 in Week 10.
Meanwhile, the Bucs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games in November and 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven overall. Tampa is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four versus the NFC.
PICK: I’m going to try Tampa Bay, but probably staying away. The Bucs really needed a win last weekend, and they got it in dramatic fashion. Tampa put up 323 total yards, 18 first downs and a sketchy 9-of-21 on third-down plays. The defense was great on the other side, giving up just 206 yards and nine first downs.
As for Seattle, they had a nice performance against the Cardinals with 421 total yards, 10-of-15 on third-down tries and 27 first downs. It’s going to be tough for the Bucs to keep the Seattle offense contained if the Seahawks play like that again, but I think Tampa can do it.
