In this article, we will formulate a Tennessee Titans vs NY Jets prediction for this NFL game on Sunday, September 15th at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this Week 2 matchup.

Tennessee Titans Betting Preview

The Tennessee Titans are 0-1 this year after they lost to Chicago by a score of 24-17 last week. Tennessee led 17-0 in the second quarter, but they allowed a blocked punt for a touchdown and one of the worst interceptions returned for a touchdown that you will ever see in the loss. The Titans outgained Chicago by a total of 244-148, turned the ball over three times, and went 3-14 on third down in the loss. Will Levis threw for 127 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while Tony Pollard rushed for 82 yards and one score on 16 carries.

Tennessee had full control of the game against Chicago last week, but they let the lead slip away with a very poor second-half effort. The Titans got some very questionable quarterback play from Levis, which ended with a terrible interception that was returned for a touchdown.

NY Jets Betting Preview

The New York Jets are 0-1 this season after they lost to San Francisco by a score of 32-19 in their last game. New York took a 7-3 lead in the first quarter, but they allowed the next 23 points, which put the game out of reach. The Jets were outgained by a total of 401-266, turned the ball over two times, and went 6-10 on third down in the game. Aaron Rodgers threw for 167 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while Breece Hall rushed for 54 yards and one score on 16 carries.

New York did a solid job of holding San Francisco to field goals in this game, but they allowed way too many yards and didn’t generate enough offense of their own. Rodgers looked about average in this game, but I expect him to get much better over the next few weeks as he gets back into game shape.

Tennessee Titans vs NY Jets Prediction

Tennessee comes into this game after a heartbreaking loss to the Bears in their first game, and I am curious to see how Levis responds after that critical interception. The Jets will be relieved to play a team easier than the 49ers, but they need to find more offense in this game. I do think we will see better play from Rodgers and the offense, while the defense should force Levis into a few more mistakes. I took Tennessee to cover in their first game, but after watching that collapse, I can’t back them here. Take the Jets to cover on the road.
