The Line: Montreal Canadiens / Ottawa Senators --- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Canadiens look to shake their three game losing skid on Saturday when they host the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre.

The Senators’ season of disappointment continues on the road in Montreal on Saturday as they look to shake off an overtime loss in their last outing with a pivotal must win type scenario against the Canadiens. Ottawa heads into action tonight sitting five points behind the Flyers for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but even if they can find their way in things don’t look too pretty as they would likely matchup against the Bruins or Penguins in the process. Robin Lehner gets the start for the Sens as Craig Anderson continues to nurse some ailments and while the youngster looked very promising in the early stages of his career he has looked shaky this season which has Sens fans a little bit nervous. He will look to rebound on the road in Montreal against Petr Budaj and the Canadiens who have been dreadful of late.

The Canadiens were dealt some terrible news when they found out Carey Price went down with an injury and his return date is still not set in stone so in the meantime they’ll have to ride with some combination of Budaj, Devan Dubnyk, and Dustin Tokarski. Montreal was right in the thick of things in the Atlantic division but a speed bump for the Habs and a ridiculous run by the Bruins has them well out in front and even the Leafs have gone on a charge to leapfrog Montreal in the standings. If the season ended today the Habs would match up against the Lightning in the opening round which may actually be a blessing for them as I think of all the playoff teams in the East the Bolts are a team Montreal matches up well against. As for tonight this game is a train wreck on paper as both teams have looked awful of late and I don’t have confidence backing any of them right now. However, I see this being a high scoring affair as both goalies have struggled of late and I think the offenses find the cage early and often.
