The Arizona Coyotes and the St. Louis Blues meet in NHL action from the Enterprise Center on Thursday night.
The Arizona Coyotes will look to rebound from a 4-3 loss to St. Louis last time out. Christian Dvorak has 9 points with a team-high 5 goals along with 4 assists while Nick Schmaltz and Conor Garland each have 8 points with Schmaltz logging 4 goals with 4 assists and Garland has 3 goals with 5 assists. Phil Kessel has 4 goals with 3 assists while Jakub Chychrun has a goal with 5 assists and Derick Brassard has a goal with 4 assists. Darcy Kuemper has a pair of wins in his 8 appearances with a 2.65 GAA this season.
The St. Louis Blues will try to add to their win over Arizona last time out to make it 4 straight wins. Jordan Kyrou has 12 points with 5 goals with 7 assists while Brayden Schenn has 10 points with 6 goals and 4 assists. David Perron has 9 points with 4 goals and 5 assists while Ryan O’Reilly and Jaden Schwartz each have 2 goals with 6 assists for their respective 8 points this season. Colton Parayko also has 7 points with 6 assists while another four Blues have 5 points this season. Jordan Binnington’s started the bulk of the games for St. Louis with 6 wins with a 2.55 GAA this season.
Arizona is 5-21 in their last 26 road games and 3-8 in their last 11 games overall while the over is 8-1 in their last 9 games against a team with a winning record. St. Louis is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 home games. Arizona is 8-21 in the last 29 meetings between these two teams and 3-8 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams in St. Louis.
I’m trying to find an angle with Arizona and the plus money, but I’ve got nothing at this point. The Coyotes aren’t finding consistent offense and more often than not, the Coyotes are just failing to find the net altogether. The Blues have started to turn it on lately and look like they have put last year’s playoff struggles behind them in the rear view mirror. Given both teams current form, I’ll lay the juice with the Blues in this spot.
