Calgary is 7-0 in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 in their last 7 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win. Vancouver is 0-6 in their last 6 games overall and 0-5 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 Saturday games. Calgary is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams and 5-2 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams in Vancouver.
I get the case that be made for Calgary, but I’m still not sold on the Flames as a whole. It beats the alternative with the way Vancouver’s playing right now, but I think the best play here is to side with the over. The Canucks couldn’t stop a beach ball between the pipes right now and you have to think that Calgary’s going to give up a couple on their end as well. I’ll side with the over as the more likely outcome in this one.
