The Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets meet in NHL action from Bell MTS Place on Monday night.

The Winnipeg Jets will look to build on their 5-2 win over Toronto last time out. Mark Scheifele leads the Jets in scoring with 36 points including a team-high 24 assists with 12 goals while Nikolaj Ehlers has 29 points with a team-high 14 goals and a team-high 84 shots on goal this season. Montreal is 3-9 in their last 12 games overall and 1-4 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games as a road favorite. Winnipeg is 6-2 in their last 8 home games and 5-2 in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 games overall. Montreal is 1-4 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
I’m still trying to fathom and understand the Habs being favored in certain spots, but realistically, this Montreal team still isn’t one I’m looking to get behind for much of anything right now. As much as I got Winnipeg’s recent games against Montreal wrong, there’s still a lot of value here with the Jets. Give me Winnipeg in this spot.
