Detroit is 9-45 in their last 54 road games and 30-83 in their last 113 games overall while the under is 11-4-3 in their last 18 games as an underdog. Dallas is 0-4 in their last 4 games as a home favorite and 3-10 in their last 13 games in their last 13 games following a win while the over is 6-1-3 in their last 10 games as a home favorite. The under is 4-1-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
The Red Wings have been on a nice run lately, and honestly so have the Stars, But realistically neither of these teams are ones I want to back long-term, and the bottom line here is that this is probably going to be a defensive struggle. I could see the Stars winning this 3-2, but I’m not laying well over -200 with Dallas. Instead, I’ll side with the under as I feel it’s a more valuable play.
