The Vancouver Canucks and the Vegas Golden Knights meet in NHL action from the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.

The Vancouver Canucks will be looking to bounce back from their 7-1 loss at the hands of the Avalanche last time out. J.T. Miller leads the Canucks with 16 points including a team-high 6 goals with a team-high 10 assists while Quinn Hughes has 12 points with 10 assists of his own and a team-best +6 plus/minus rating this season. Conor Garland has 11 points with 3 goals and 8 assists and Bo Horvat had 10 points split between 5 goals and 5 assists. Miller and Hughes each have a team-high 6 power play points while Minner and Elias Pettersson each have a pair of power play goals this season. Thatcher Demko’s made the bulk of the starts in goal for Vancouver, going 5-5-1 with a 2.99 GAA and a .907 save percentage this season.

The Vegas Golden Knights will be looking to build on their 3-2 win over Minnesota in their last game. Chandler Stephenson leads the Golden Knights with 13 points including 5 goals, a team-high 8 asissts as well as a team-best +5 plus/minus, sharing that accolade with Nicolas Roy. Jonathan Marchessault has 11 points with a team-high 7 goals and Reilly Smith has 9points split between 4 goals and 5 assists this season. Robin Lehner’s started the bulk of the action in goal for Vegas, going 6-5 with a 2.72 GAA and a .919 save percentage this season.

Vancouver is 2-6 in their last 8 games overall and 1-4 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 6-0-1 in their last 7 games against the Pacific division. Vegas is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 19-7 in their last 26 Saturday games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games as a favorite.

I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m going to side with the under in this one. The offenses on both sides have been sporadic and while I’ve been personally critical of the goaltending on both sides, the reality is that both are actually playing fairly well right now. I think we see a low-scoring, physical battle, so give me the under here.
