Best NHL Parlays for 5/5/2022

NHL Parlays for Thursday
May 5, 2022 7:00 pm EDT

There are four NHL games on Thursday and there is plenty of value with these games. Let’s take a look at a couple of free NHL parlays to make your night a profitable one.

Dallas Stars, Calgary Flames under 5.5 -105 / Colorado Avalanche -1.5 -145 / Washington Capitals, Florida Panthers under 6.5 +110 // $10 bet pays $59.28

The Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames are both going to lockdown with their defense in this game. In the first game of the series, it was the Flames that came away with the 1-0 victory. The Flames had 26 shots on goal while the Stars only had 16 shots on goal. Even if the Flames’ offense is better in this game, I don’t see the Stars’ offense creating many more scoring chances. Look for a 2-1 type of game, and the under will cash.

The Colorado Avalanche are going to have no issue again in this game going against the Nashville Predators. At the end of the first period the Avalanche were leading 5-0, and they are going to have no issue again in this game. The Avalanche had 45 shots on goal, and the Predators have a real goal tending problem on their hands. I don’t love laying the -145 on the puck line, but in a parlay, it has a value.

The first game between the Washington Capitals and Florida Panthers had six goals, and I expect this game will be even lower scoring. At the end of the second period in Game 1, there were only three goals scored, and I expect Florida is going to have the better defense in this game. I don’t see this game going over five goals. Nashville Predators, Colorado Avalanche over 6.5 -120 / Colorado Avalanche -1.5 -145 // $10 bet pays $20.98

The Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche combined for nine goals in Game 1, and this game is going to have at least seven. The Avalanche’s offense is elite, but I also expect the Predators are going to score a goal or two. Look for a 6-1 or 6-2 type of game, and this is going over the total.
