The Seattle Kraken and the Buffalo Sabres meet in NHL action from the Keybank Center on Tuesday night.

The Seattle Kraken will try to add to their current five-game win streak after a 4-0 win over Montreal last time out. Andre Burakovsky leads Seattle in scoring with 33 points including a team-high 22 assists while Jordan Eberle has 32 points with 9 goals and 23 assists and Matty Beniers has 32 points with 15 goals and 17 assists. Jared McCann also has a team-high 19 goals this season for Seattle. Martin Jones has gone 19-5-3 with a 2.78 GAA and an .894 save percentage while Philipp Grubauer is 3-7-1 with a 3.53 GAA and an .881 save percentage in goal for Seattle this season.

The Buffalo Sabres will look to bounce back after a 4-0 loss to Philadelphia on Monday. Tage Thompson has a team-high 56 points with 31 goals and 25 assists while Rasmus Dahlin has 44 points with 12 goals and a team-high 32 assists. Jeff Skinner has 39 points with 17 goals and 22 assists and Alex Tuch has 43 points with 18 goals. Dylan Cozens also has 37 points with 24 assists and Victor Olofsson also has 15 goals this season. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has gone 9-3-1 with a 3.49 GAA and an .894 save percentage while Craig Anderson’s 7-6-1 with a 2.70 GAA and a .921 save percentage so far in goal for Buffalo this season.

Seattle is 5-0 in their last 5 games overall and 4-0 in their last 4 road games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games played on no rest. Buffalo is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 home games while the over is 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Western Conference.

I was initially leaning towards the Sabres at home here, but while one game doesn’t define a team, it certainly dealt a blow to my confidence in the Sabres coming into this game. If everything was level and both teams won on Monday, I give the edge to Buffalo because they’re the hotter team and didn’t have to travel. However now with Buffalo losing on Monday while Seattle kept the momentum going, I have to ride with the Kraken here to keep their own streak going. Give me Seattle in this one.
