The Nashville Predators and the Ottawa Senators meet in NHL action from the Canadian Tire Centre on Monday night.

The Nashville Predators will look to add to their current three-game win streak after a 3-2 win over Washington last time out. Filip Forsberg has 34 points with 15 goals and 19 assists while Mikael Granlund has 25 points with his own 21 assists and Matt Duchene has 30 points with 19 assists on the year. Roman Josi has 31 points with 22 assists and Nino Niederreiter’s also chipped in 12 goals while Ryan Johansen has 9 goals as well on the year. Juuse Saros has gone 14-10-5 with a 2.77 GAA and a .918 save percentage between the pipes for Nashville while Kevin Lankinen is 4-4-1 with a 2.81 GAA and a .918 save percentage.

The Ottawa Senators will look to rebound from an 8-4 loss to Seattle in their last game. Brady Tkachuk leads the Senators in scoring with 40 points including a team-high 14 goals and 26 assists while Alex DeBrincat has 36 points with 13 goals and 23 assists this season. Claude Giroux also has 36 points with 15 goals of his own and 21 assists while Drake Batherson has 37 points with 13 goals and 24 assists and Tim Stutzle has 39 points with a team-high 18 goals and 21 assists this season. Anton Forsberg’s gone 7-8-2 with a 2.91 GAA and a .911 save percentage while Cam Talbot is 10-10-1 with a 2.89 GAA and a .906 save percentage this season.

Nashville is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 5-1 in their last 5 road games while the over is 36-17-1 in their last 54 road games. Ottawa is 5-2 in their last 7 home games and 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 20-6 in their last 26 games overall.

I get the case to be made on either side in this game, but I’m going to back the under. Ottawa’s been finding the goal a fair bit as of late and gave up 8 to Seattle in their last game, but head-to-head with Nashville, this has been a low-scoring matchup going back a couple of seasons. Ottawa tends to play their best at home, but Nashville’s playing with a level of confidence right now and I think they compete hard in this one. First to 3 wins. Give me the under.
