I’m on the Hurricanes in this one. I get the case to be made for Florida as I think a lot of folks are expecting the Panthers to bounce back after a rough 2026-27 season. However, I still have serious questions about the goaltending situation in Florida and I don’t think it’s going to be smooth sailing for the Panthers right out the gate. The banner raising night always makes things a little interesting, but I think this is a Hurricanes team that’s once again going to be dominant at home and I look for them to get the win here.
