The Los Angeles Kings and the Dallas Stars meet in NHL action from the American Airlines Center on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Kings will try to build on back-to-back wins after a 5-1 win over St. Louis last time out. Gabriel Vilardi leads the Kings with 13 points lncluding a team-high 8 goals and 5 assists while Kevin Fiala has 12 points with a team-high 10 assists and Anze Kopitar has 10 points with 8 assists. Adrian Kempe has 9 points with 6 goals of his own while Trevor Moore has 8 points with 7 assists and Phillip Danault has 4 goals as well on the year. Jonathan Quick has gone 3-4 with a 3.81 GAA and an .888 save percentage while Cal Petersen has a 3-1 record with a 4.10 GAA and an .865 save percentage this season.

The Dallas Stars will look to bounce back from a 6-3 loss at the hands of the New York Rangers in their last game. Jason Robertson has a team-high 10 points and Roope Hintz has 9 points with Hintz logging a team-high 6 assists and Robertson posting 4 goals and 6 assists while Joe Pavelski has a team-high 4 goals and 8 points this season. Mason Marchment’s got 7 points with 4 goals and 3 assists and Tyler Seguin’s posted 7 points as well with a pair of goals and 5 assists as well this season. Jake Oettinger’s gone 5-0 with a 1.17 GAA and a .960 save percentage while Scott Wedgewood is 0-2-1 with a 4.29 GAA and an .880 save percentage in goal for the Stars so far this season.

Los Angeles is 7-2 in their last 9 games played on no rest and 3-7 in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-0-1 in their last 6 games following a win. Dallas is 37-17 in their last 54 home games and 4-1 in their last 5 games against the Western Conference while the under is 11-2-3 in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record.

I get the case to be made for either side in this game, but I like the over a lot here. These are two teams that have had no issue finding the back of the net and with Dallas’ Jake Oettinger in a questionable status heading into this game, it’s hard to really feel strongly about Dallas in this game. I think both teams have been finding the back of the net with some level of consistency this season, especially the Kings on the road, so I’m going to back the over in this one.
