Jason Robertson’s back to lead the charge after logging team-highs of 109 points, 46 goals and 63 assists last season while Jamie Benn, Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz and Joe Pavelski are all back as well, making up Dallas’ group of five 70+-point scorers last season. The plus for Dallas is that they brought on Matt Duchene who led the Nashville Predators with 22 goals last season. Jake Oettinger is also back between the pipes after a breakout 2022-23 season where he went 37-11-11 with a 2.37 GAA and a .919 save percentage last season.

I think that the Dallas Stars will be looking to once again instill their methodical, defensive approach to their game, while the St. Louis Blues will want to come out of the gates strong and get off to a good start.
