For the first NHL props on Thursday, January 25, we have the Devils vs Hurricanes Player Prop Bets. The New Jersey Devils look for the third win in four games as they visit the Carolina Hurricanes, who are searching for the tenth win in 13 games.

Devils vs Hurricanes Player Prop Bets – Jesper Bratt Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-130)

Jesper Bratt is the most productive Devil in Jack Hughes’ absence due to an injury. So far in the season, Bratt leads New Jersey in points with 48, even 15 more than the next active player, Tyler Toffoli. Bratt is the team’s top assist-maker with 31, but he’s also the one with the most shots on goal.

The Swedish forward has 141 shots in 45 games, which is 3.13 SOG on average. In 11 of the previous 15 outings, Bratt attempted 3+ shots, including each of the last three. He registered a career-high ten shots in the most recent game against the Golden Knights! Although he failed to score, Bratt did record an assist, but his aggressiveness was immense.

It’s hard to expect such a display again, especially considering the Hurricanes allow the least shots on goal to the opponents – 25.3 per game. Still, the Devils have the top 10 offense in the NHL that scores 3.47 goals per game, and Bratt is a big reason for such a record. I expect him to stay hot tonight.

Martin Necas Over 0.5 Points (-136)

Martin Necas is sharing the No. 3 spot with two more players when it comes to points on the Carolina Hurricanes roster. He collected 30 points in 41 games thus far but has been in fine form recently. Necas recorded five points in the last four games and had at least a point in each of those four showings.

Interestingly, Necas scored a goal in three consecutive games, which is the first time he experienced this feature since the 2020-21 campaign. That’s thanks to his offensive aggressiveness; Necas combined for even 20 shots in those three games.

I don’t need him to score against the Devils, but a point would be nice. In ten games against New Jersey in his career, Necas recorded eight points. He has been on a tear lately, and I am backing him to continue with offensive contributions.

Apart from the Devils vs Hurricanes Player Prop Bets, we have prepared one more NHL prop bets piece. Make sure to check out the Blackhawks vs Oilers Player Prop Bets.
