Johnny Gaudreau has led Columbus with 11 goals, 48 assists, and 155 shots on goal. The projected starting goalie for Columbus is Jet Greaves, who is 2-4-0 this year with a 3.04 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.

Florida Panthers Team Facts

  • The Panthers have covered the puck line in each of their last eight games against the Blue Jackets following a win.
  • The Panthers have won the second period in each of their last seven night games against the Blue Jackets following a win.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 1′ market has hit in each of the Panthers’ last six night games.

Columbus Blue Jackets Team Facts

  • The Blue Jackets have lost each of their last nine games against Atlantic Division opponents.
  • The home team has covered the puck line in five of the Blue Jackets’ last six games.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 1′ market has hit in each of the Blue Jackets’ last four games.
  • The Blue Jackets have lost the third period in six of their last seven games following a road loss.

Panthers vs Blue Jackets Prediction

Florida comes into this matchup as a huge favorite to get the win, but they have lost nine of their last 13 games. The Panthers did beat Ottawa twice in their last three games, but they need to play better if they are going to hang onto the second spot in the Atlantic. Columbus has been the worst team in the East this season and they are only 10-22-7 on the road. The Blue Jackets have really struggled to score goals consistently, so I am going to take the under, as there is little value on the Panthers.
