In this article we will formulate a LA Kings vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction for game 4 of the NHL playoffs on Sunday, April 28th at Crypto.com Arena.

Oilers Have Confidence

The Oilers sit with a 2-1 series lead and the offense has been the biggest reason why. On Friday, the Oilers offense scored six goals on the way to the five-goal victory. Leon Draisital had a strong game scoring a goal and adding an assist. Connor McDavid had a strong game scoring a goal and adding an assist. Stuart Skinner was in goal and he had an impressive game also saving 27 of the 28 shots that he faced. In the one game they lost the defense was a problem giving up five goals and they ended up losing in overtime.

Oilers Offense Has Impressed

In the first game of this series, the Oilers scored seven runs and they are going to need the offense to run up the score here. The Oilers offense was ranked 4th in the league during the regular season while the defense was ranked 10th. Connor McDavid has scored one goal and added eight assists so far this season. Zach Hyman has scored six goals and added one assist so far this season.

Must Win for the Kings

It’s a must win for the Kings, as it’s hard to imagine they would find much success coming down from 3-1 in this series with the way the Oilers have been scoring. In the last game they were down 3-0 at the end of the first quarter and they weren’t able to bounce back as they were defeated 6-1. Drew Doughty scored the only goal for the Kings, but it wasn’t nearly enough. Cam Talbot started in goal and he saved 34 of the 40 shots that he faced. The Kings can’t let so many shots on goal, or this is going to be a very long game.

Can Kings Defense Bounce Back?

The Kings offense during the regular season was ranked 16th, while the defense was ranked 3rd in the league. They gave up 215 goals total during the regular season and they are going to need to find a way to bounce back here. Quinton Byfield has finished with four assists. Adrian Kempe has scored three goals and added an assist.

LA King vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction

The Kings defense was strong during the regular season, but I don’t think they are going to magically bounce back here. The Oilers’ offense has been impressive heading into this game, and they are going to score at least five goals here. The Kings offense isn’t going to be keeping up, and that will be the difference here, as the Oilers will get the job done. Back the Oilers on the puck line.
