Nick Suzuki has led Montreal with 33 goals, 41 assists, and 177 shots on goal. The projected starting goalie for Montreal is Sam Montembeault, who is 15-15-7 this year with a 3.10 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.

  • The Canadiens have lost the third period in seven of their last eight games as underdogs against Metropolitan Division opponents.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 1′ market has hit in six of the Canadiens’ last seven night games against opponents on a losing streak.

Philadelphia Flyers Team Facts

  • The Flyers have lost each of their last eight night games.
  • The Flyers have failed to cover the puck line in each of their last six games as favorites.
  • The Flyers have lost the first period in each of their last five games.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 3′ market has hit in each of the Flyers’ last eight games against Atlantic Division opponents.

Canadiens vs Flyers Prediction

Philadelphia comes into this matchup trying to snap their seven game losing streak and they are fighting for a playoff spot. This losing streak couldn’t have come at worse time for Philadelphia and they have allowed at least four goals in five straight games. Montreal is at the bottom of the Atlantic standings and they have lost three games in a row. The Canadiens have allowed 16 goals in those three losses and they are only 15-20-4 at home. Neither team has played very well on the defensive end of the ice in recent games, but I am going to side with Montreal at home with the plus money.
