San Jose Sharks Team Preview

The San Jose Sharks will be out to snap the long losing streak after a 7-1 loss to Toronto last time out. Tomas Hertl has a team-high 13 goals and 15 assists for his team-leading 28 points while Fabian Zetterlund has 17 points with 11 goals. Mikael Granlund has 27 points with a team-high 22 assists while William Eklund also has 17 points with 7 goals and 10 assists on the year. Montreal Canadiens Team Preview

The Montreal Canadiens come into this one looking to rebound from a 3-2 shootout loss to Philadelphia in their last matchup. Nick Suzuki has a team-high 34 points with 12 goals and 22 assists while Cole Caufield has 27 points with 11 goals and 16 assists. Mike Matheson has 27 points with 21 assists of his own while Sean Monahan has 24 points with 11 goals and 13 assists. Jake Allen is 4-8-2 with a .900 save percentage and 3.52 GAA while Sam Montembault is 9-5-3 with a 2.93 GAA and a .906 save percentage in goal for Montreal this season. Cayden Primeau is also 4-4-1 with a 3.30 GAA and a .905 save percentage this season for the Habs.

Sharks vs. Canadiens Prediction

I’m on Montreal here. I could care less if they’re on the back-to-back, there’s simply no backing the Sharks right now as this team is downright awful. The goaltending’s stunk overall, but it’s been especially bad on the road and I don’t see that going away anytime soon. Montreal’s at least winning games here and there and the Sharks are back to looking like the dumpster fire to start the year. Give me Montreal.
