The Arizona Coyotes and the Ottawa Senators meet in NHL action from the Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday afternoon.

The Arizona Coyotes come into this game on the heels of their 6-2 loss at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens to fall to 1-3 on the year as a result. Shayne Gostisbehere leads the ‘Yotes with 5 points including a pair of goals and a team-high 3 assists. Nick Ritchie has 4 points with a team-high 3 goals as well and J.J. Moser also has 4 points with 3 assists this season. Lawson Crouse, Clayton Keller and Travis Boyd each have 3 points with a goal and a pair of assists this season. Karel Vejmelka has gone 1-2 with a 4.35 GAA and an .894 save percentage while Connor Ingram has gone 0-1 with a 5.05 GAA and an .828 save percentage between the pipes for Arizona this season.

The Ottawa Senators will try to build on back-to-back home wins after a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals in their last matchup, improving to 2-2 on the year. Drake Batherson and Brady Tkachuk each have 6 points with Batherson logging 3 goals and 3 assists while Tkachuk has a team-high 4 assists. Claude Giroux and Alex DeBrincat each have 4 points with Giroux logging a pair of goals and a pair of assists while DeBrincat has 3 assists. Tim Stutzle, Tyler Motte and Shane Pinto each have 3 points with Pinto logging 3 goals while Stutzle and Motte each have a goal and 2 assists. Anton Forsberg’s gone 2-2 with a 3.03 GAA and a .903 save percentage this season in goal for Ottawa this season.

I get the reasoning for considering an underdog here as these kinds of prices are not ones you normally associate with the Ottawa Senators. However, Ottawa’s been really good at home through their first couple of games this season, and while Arizona got a surprise win over Toronto, they fell back into old habits against a mediocre Montreal team. I don’t think Ottawa’s taking anyone lightly right now and are keeping their heads on a swivel, so give me the Senators to keep the momentum going at home once again.
