Panthers vs Oilers Injury Report
The Oilers will be without Zach Hyman and Alec Regula. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is questionable. Nugent-Hopkins played 15 minutes in game 3, so I’d assume he’ll play in game 4.
The Panthers don’t have any players listed on their injury report.
Panthers vs Oilers Prediction
You can make a case for the Oilers and the plus money as they’re still a talented team with the best player on the ice, but that’s about where it stops. The Panthers have won five of the last six games against the Oilers, and the most recent effort wasn’t close. Game 3 was ugly, and it got even uglier for the Oilers when they decided they wanted to fight the Panthers. The Panthers won those fights as well. The Oilers look like a team that had its spirit broken in that loss, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see another deflating performance.
Since January 18, the Panthers are 20-6 as a home favorite. Every game is a different beast in a playoff series, so who knows, I just lack confidence in the Oilers after what we saw on Monday. Also, I’ve been riding the Panthers’ bandwagon all year and two wins away from a title, not stopping now. Give me the Panthers and the reasonable price.
