Robert Thomas has led St. Louis with 25 goals, 60 assists, and 168 shots on goal. The projected starting goalie for St. Louis is Joel Hofer, who is 14-12-1 this year with a 2.72 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.

The Seattle Kraken are 33-33-13 this season after they lost to Dallas by a score of 3-1 in their last game. St. Louis Blues Team Facts

  • The Blues have lost 11 of their last 12 day games against opponents on a losing streak.
  • The Blues have covered the puck line in nine of their last 10 home games against Western Conference opponents.
  • The Blues have won the second period in five of their last six games as home favorites following a home loss.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 3′ market has hit in each of the Blues’ last seven games following a loss.

Seattle Kraken Team Facts

  • The Kraken have lost each of their last eight games as underdogs.
  • The favorites have covered the puck line in eight of the Kraken’s last nine games.
  • The Kraken have lost the second period in each of their last four day games.
  • The ‘Over 1.5 Goals Period 3’ market has hit in each of the Kraken’s last 12 games as underdogs.

Blues vs Kraken Prediction

Neither one of these teams is going to be in the postseason this year, but they will look to pick up a nice win here. St. Louis was just eliminated from playoff contention on Friday, so they may come out flat in this game. Seattle is on a back to back after playing a very good Dallas team on Saturday afternoon, but they have played decently well on the road this season. St. Louis is 24-14-2 at home this year, but I think they are going to lack some intensity in this one. Take Seattle and the plus money here.
